Rimu Mere Small New Zealand Destination (including gst) NZ $44.95 International Destination NZ $39.08 225mm Rimu Mere with Paua detail. Originally made from wood, bone or Pounamu (Greenstone), the mere was worn in the Maori warrior's war belt. With a wide flat blade, it was a thrusting rather than striking weapon. This mere is carved in the traditional style and features Paua shell detail and twisted flax rope.
